Only one final tip: Try to remember to wipe your greasy fingerprints off of your labels before you photograph them to show the world.I’ve been working on a really quick little bathroom update for the last month or so, and of course, like on any project, there were lots of little imperfections.
I really wanted to take a whole bunch of pictures to share with you, because it is such a work of art from all sides, but it was way too darn hot to stand still.. At the far end of our journey, we made it to this nearly deserted beach and sat and ate our granola bars for a few minutes.. Tricked ya!I did take one picture of us.
We look pretty happy still don’t we?It’s like they always say: The first 30k and the last 30k are the hardest, but the middle 25 are a breeze.OK, no one says that, but it’s true!.
Then we had to make it all the way back around the bay to get back to our little beach where we stay..I may have cursed Chris more than once on our bike ride, but it was definitely an anniversary to remember!.
Now to go find Chris for help hanging that mirror…So while I had my paintbrush out and filled with beautiful white glossy paint, I thought it couldn’t hurt to slap a little extra on our sad and shabby looking light switch in the front hall, you know, just to clean it up for now.. Why not just throw a new switch plate up there?.
Well, the whole thing, switch and all really needs to be changed out.I really haven’t bought much new this year at all in the way of Christmas decorations, but having a new (old) house to play around in has made all my leftover stuff from past years feel brand new.. More Christmas fun to come soon!Have you been outside to play today?.
Today I’m reminding myself to always keep my family’s health and wellness at the very top of my list of priorities.I thought you might enjoy remembering this with me.We’re planning on starting a garden next Spring, so we had to dig up the grass in a section of the property because there wasn’t any garden from when the last owners lived here.. We decided to tackle the huuuuuge task this fall so that we’ll have a nice level area to make a skating rink for this Winter and then in the Spring, we can get right to work planting.. It’s really just a dirt rectangle right now, but we have plans for a white picket fence around it with gates on either end and berries planted all around.
Maybe next year.Maybe.. Lucky for us the old owners left behind a whole bunch of amazing garden tools for us, which made the job really fun.. A rusty old red wheelbarrow.
