It Has a Title!.

and put this together, I told Chris that he was definitely going to have to help me with it because it was just going  to be too big of a job for me with this baby practicing his karate moves in my belly lately.You know what though?

I actually managed to get everything together in the course of a few days with no help at all, thanks to all of these easy projects I came up with that took me no more than 10 minutes each.It all came together to create this great cheerful first impression that seems perfectly well-planned out even if I just stumbled my way into it..I wanted RED so I went and found these red stockings in my Christmas bins and this red picnic blanket that was with the camping supplies.. Next I went and quickly cut all these cedar branches from outside, just whatever I could carry easily in one trip.

I stuck them in the stockings and in a vase and around here and there..I kept the same wreath and just stuck a few sprigs of cedar in there too.

Wait, there’s no red here!

Well, you might notice that the door used to be red, but I went and painted it gray a few weeks ago and I love it.refinished an old desk.

that I got for free and haven’t worried about it since.Notice that I did the desk in the whole white bottom/wood top combo that I’m hoping for with the cabinets, just to keep things moving in the right direction.. Off to the side of the table, we have this little laundry nook that’s only separated from the rest of the kitchen by an arched doorway.

Again, we have big plans in here involving more new matching cabinetry and new appliances so that everything ties together with the rest of the kitchen.For now it holds a mini fridge and record player.
